Nucleadyn – a powerful new skin restoration treatment

There’s a new, powerful injectable skin treatment in town and we can’t wait to tell you about it!

Once upon a time, most people wanting to address the signs of ageing had to turn to more invasive procedures, such as surgical facelifts. Thanks to constant innovation in aesthetics, minimally invasive treatments such as anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers have pushed the knife to one side and provided a safer, yet very effective, alternative. And now, we have a new, very exciting tool in our practitioner kit – Nucleadyn®.

What is Nucleadyn®?

Put simply, Nucleadyn® is a gel-based injectable treatment designed to tackle advanced skin ageing. It’s derived from polymerised Polynucleotides, a very powerful organic molecule that combats ageing signs, uneven skin tone and dehydration. It deeply penetrates the skin to combat oxidative stress and the free radicals responsible for premature ageing. It reduces the appearance of pigmentation and scars, and deeply moisturises dehydrated skin – and it doesn’t end there – it also boosts collagen production to improve skin firmness and elasticity.

What sets Polynucleotides apart from other skin boosters is their ability to target all tissue layers affected by the ageing process, including bone, muscle, and adipose tissue. This unique characteristic makes Nucleadyn® an effective treatment option for a wide range of ageing-related concerns.

If you’re of a more mature age, concerned with fine line and wrinkles, and looking to re-build the blocks of the foundations of your skin, Nucleadyn could be an excellent choice.

Does the treatment come in different forms?

Yes, there are three specific forms available:

  • Nucleadyn® Eyes: particularly effective for the area around the eyes, as it can improve hollowness, poor circulation, dehydrated skin, eye bags, dark circles, and periocular wrinkles.
  • Nucleadyn® Rejuvenation: has a bio stimulating effect and is ideal for deep tearing (neck, décolleté ) and skin laxity.
  • Nucleadyn® Face: ideal for dehydrated skin and contouring of the face.

The concentration of the polymerised polynucleotide gel is what differentiates these products. For example, the Nucleadyn®  Eyes product has a watery consistency, while the Nucleadyn®  Face product is quite viscous.

What are the main benefits of Nucleadyn®?

  • Prevents further signs of ageing: Nucleadyn’s detoxifying effect against free radicals and oxidative stress limits skin breakdown and the appearance of wrinkles.
  • Repairs damage: It triggers and improves tissue regeneration by attracting stem cells, which have a strong reparative effect.
  • Lifts & plumps: It restores skin tone and elasticity by producing collagen type I (while Profhilo stimulates type III) and promotes the maturation of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts, resulting in a specific lifting and revitalising effect suitable for all skin types.
  • Regenerative: Increases local vascularisation.
  • Hydrating: Has a moisturising effect due to its strong water retention capabilities. Its anti-free radical action prolongs the activity of hyaluronic acid, reducing its degradation by around 40%.
  • Contours and tightens

For maximum effect, how many treatments are needed?

The recommended treatment protocol for each area involves 2 to 3 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart, followed by maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months.

Can anybody have this treatment?

Nucleadyn® is a versatile treatment that can be used on most people. It is particularly effective in people with advanced signs of ageing. The only contraindication to consider is pregnancy and breastfeeding. However, it's important to note that Nucleadyn is derived from salmon, so if you follow a vegan lifestyle, this may not be suitable for you. Additionally, if you have a seafood or salmon allergy, you should take this into consideration before undergoing treatment.

What’s the difference between Nucleadyn® and Nucleofill?

If you’ve heard of “Nucleofill” then you may wonder if there is any connection between the products. Although both from Italy, they are different products from different companies. Nucleadyn® is a new Polynucleotide product on the market with an updated formulation which has a higher concentration of polynucleotides and better results. Nucleofill is still on the market, however, it is now being sold online and used by beauticians whereas Nucleadyn® is only supplied to medical professionals.

Is Nucleadyn® better than Profhilo or Derma Fillers?

Profhilo and Nucleadyn are two entirely different products with unique compositions and properties. Profhilo is a stabilised form of hyaluronic acid, while Nucleadyn is a skin revitaliser that contains Polynucleotides. Therefore, comparing the two products is not valid as they are used for different purposes.

It's important to understand that neither product replaces the other, but they can be combined together to achieve exceptional skin rejuvenation and deep, long-lasting hydration.

Combining Nucleadyn® with dermal fillers can also produce naturally-looking and long-lasting rejuvenation effects, especially around the under-eye hollows and dark circles. The results are remarkable as they address the specific concerns of the under-eye area, which can be challenging to treat with other products.
